Description
The Celtic peoples, including their priestly class of Druids, predate Christianity by over a thousand years. Some say by 3,000 with conservative estimates at about 1,200 years. It is from these people we acquire large numbers of our modern Halloween traditions. As with Zoroastrianism in Persia, the Druidic priests held ideas and preserved symbols now reinvented and held sacred by Christianity.
