Season 1 Episode 100
Nicky is a serial entrepreneur, founder of The Wilder Collective, host of the Women’s Business podcast, and Mum of two children.
Everything Nicky does is about lifting the voices of female founders, and she is here to empower her community of women to break down conventional norms and become free to explore the lives and careers they want — that bit WILDER.
Through her podcast, public speaking and writing Nicky loves to explore the topic of learnt sexism — our inherent and programmed self-hatred and limiting beliefs. Learnt sexism doesn’t sound like hate — it sounds like: ‘I’m not ready.’ ‘She’s too much.’ or ‘I could never.’ Those are the beliefs she is ready to dismantle so that women can support each other, AND own their power.
(I connected with Nicky on Instagram and invited her on because, as you can probably tell, she totally speaks my language!)
TRIGGER WARNING: From 45 minutes 20 seconds to 48 minutes and 20 seconds, Nicky speaks about having a difficult pregnancy, birth and their recovery.
In this episode we speak about:

We mention Ana Forrest, Minna Dubin, Gabor Maté, Greta Gerwig and Zoe Charles

At the end, I read a poem written by Donna Ashworth.
