The Chinese people’s titanic struggle against Japanese imperialism played a vital part in the antifascist victory in WW2. Led by the communists, including revolutionary forces from Korea, this struggle also laid the groundwork for the victory of the Chinese Revolution in 1949, and for a string of other democratic and socialist revolutions that took place in east Asia in the following period.
