This is the third episode in the summer Business Builders podcast series. This is a five part series specifically for teachers (or anyone) who are in the beginning phases of building a business. It’s for teachers who are wanting to build a side hustle or turn their side hustle into their main source of income so they can have the confidence and freedom to make decisions based on what they truly want in life; not what they think they should do. 

In this episode, we break it down and talk about the four essential things you need to start a business (and I’m guessing they’re probably NOT what you think). When you’re starting a business, you don’t need to make things super complicated; this episode will walk you through what you need so you can get started and start making money.

• Starting a business can be COMPLETELY overwhelming. Especially when you’re doing it all by yourself.

• Don’t get stuck in researching all the things and all the platforms- just pick one and go. 

• Whatever you decide in the beginning doesn’t have to stay the same forever. You can change things up, move things, tweak things, switch platforms, etc. 

• There’s nothing wrong with building the airplane while flying it. 

• Messy action is better than no action.
