Description
In this episode Steve laments the loss of an old friend, a monthly visitor to which he contributed a fairly large portion of his working career, a friend whose blank pages Steve turned, each month, into essays, exposes and bites of entertainment for thousands of hound-hungry subscribers over a nearly fifty-year history. UKC announced recently that it will no longer publish their house organ Coonhound Bloodlines after the first of the year.
The episode also contains a White River Refuge 2025 preview, a letter from old friend Bubba Back Home, a report on Ghost the wonder dog and a congratulatory message to the brand new UKC World Champions. The episode concludes with a tutorial on coon skinning for those wishing to take a Foxfire-type approach to coon hunting the way Deddy did it.
