Rest in peace, Raul R. Raul, a truly honest and well-balanced man, passed away in Argentina. He was one of the most remarkable individuals I’ve known in Alcoholics Anonymous. I consider him a good friend. The last time I saw him, I took him to get his car so he could drive to the airport. Please send him your condolences. He was the one who reminded me, “Whatever you’re doing, keep doing that, walking, Fernando. I can see a change in you.” He was also the one who firmly believed that gossip had no place in Alcoholics Anonymous. He emphasized that our book prohibits character assassination within the AA atmosphere. We honor Raul’s memory and are grateful that he crossed our paths. He will be deeply missed by many.
