Description
In California, 29-year-old Marissa Divodi-Lessa and her 7-year-old son Josiah were murdered this August. Prosecutors say the killer was Marissa’s boyfriend, Cal Fire captain Darin McFarlin, who now faces two counts of first-degree murder. His preliminary hearing is set for October 16th. Our second case brings us to Texas, where Robert Roberson sits on death row for the 2002 death of his 2-year-old daughter Nikki, a conviction built on the disputed ‘shaken baby syndrome’ diagnosis.
