Season 1 Episode 5 Published 7 years, 5 months ago
Description

Bethany Butzer is a lecturer in the psychology department at the University of New York in Prague, Czech Republic. She is also the author of The Antidepressant Antidote: Five Steps to Get Off Antidepressants Safely and Effectively. Her TED Talk, "Stop Trying So Hard: Achieve More By Doing Less" has been viewed over 750,000 times on YouTube.

While Bethany is an academic, she is also fascinated by spirituality and metaphysics. Her work marries two sides of the existential whole – intellect and spirit – and is focused on answering the big questions about happiness and fulfillment. Her own struggles with anxiety and burnout have been a catalyst for those explorations.

Join us for a compelling conversation about being authentic, taking risks, living in Europe, and learning to have faith.

Oh, and Czech hippies.
