Story Transcript:
Sl: Maja je stala na obali Blejskega jezera, ki ga je v noči obdalo rdečkasto zlato jesensko listje.
En: Maja stood on the shore of Blejsko Lake, surrounded in the night by the reddish-gold autumn leaves.
Sl: Vihral je hladni veter in megla se je počasi dvigala nad jezero.
En: A cold wind blew, and the mist slowly rose above the lake.
Sl: Maja je občudovala otoček s cerkvico, ki je postal še bolj skrivnosten ob soju nenavadne svetlobe, ki je prihajala iznenada sredi noči.
En: Maja admired the small island with the church, which became even more mysterious in the glow of unusual light that suddenly appeared in the middle of the night.
Sl: "Zoran, poglej to svetlobo," je Maja rekla z iskrico v očeh.
En: "Zoran, look at this light," Maja said with a spark in her eyes.
Sl: "To je nekaj posebnega!
En: "It's something special!
Sl: Morda skrivnost, ki jo iščem.
En: Maybe it's the mystery I've been searching for."
Sl: "Zoran je skomignil z rameni, oči na majhni svetilki, ki jo je držal.
En: Zoran shrugged his shoulders, eyes on the small flashlight he was holding.
Sl: "Svetlobo verjetno povzroča nek reflektor.
En: "The light is probably caused by some spotlight.
Sl: Ali pa je zgolj optična prevara.
En: Or it's just an optical illusion."
Sl: "Maja se je zasmejala in si iz oči odmaknila pramen vetra zmrznjenih las.
En: Maja laughed and brushed a strand of frozen hair from her eyes.
Sl: "Prav nič romantičnega ni v tvojih razlagah," ga je zbadljivo pokarala.
En: "There's nothing romantic in your explanations," she teasingly scolded him.
Sl: "Pojdiva to raziskati!
En: "Let's go investigate!"
Sl: "Zoran je rahlo zavzdihnil, a vedel je, da bo šel z Majo.
En: Zoran sighed slightly, but he knew he would go with Maja.
Sl: Tudi sam je bil vsaj malo radoveden.
En: He was at least a little curious too.
Sl: Hodila sta po ozki poti ob jezeru, dokler nista prišla do razgledne točke, kjer je bila svetloba najmočnejša.
En: They walked along the narrow path by the lake until they arrived at a viewpoint where the light was strongest.
Sl: Okoli jezera je vladal spokoj in le šum listja, ki ga je nosil veter, je prekinjal tišino.
En: Around the lake reigned tranquility, and only the rustling of leaves carried by the wind interrupted the silence.
Sl: Svetloba je trepetala, kakor da bi želela razkriti kaj skrivnostnega.
En: The light flickered as if wanting to reveal something mysterious.
Sl: "To prihaja od tam," je Maja pokazala na majhen čoln, privezan ob obali.
En: "It's coming from there," Maja pointed to a small boat tied to the shore.

En: "Let's go take a closer look."

En: Zoran hesitated a bit, but Maja was already pulling him towards the boat.
