Drawing from Peter’s own story of failure and restoration, the scattering of the early church, and the covenant promises sealed in the blood of Christ, he showed us that our identity as “elect exiles” is secured in the eternal love of the Father, the sanctifying work of the Spirit, and the cleansing blood of the Son.
