Description
After Saul forces the people not to eat, he makes another stupid oath:
- YHWH doesn't respond to Saul's prayers, so Saul tries to find the culprit
- After casting lots, the lot falls on Jonathon
- Saul is about to kill Jonathon, but the people rescue him
- Why didn't the lot fall on Saul if he was the culprit?
- Saul becomes a powerful king in spite of this
- Samuel's prophecy about the king comes true
