In the aftermath of the Charlie Kirk assassination, there is a rising dialogue that God called him home, as if God orchestrated a graphic event of murder to draw people to him. The picture that is being painted, suggests that our God is wrathful vengeful God, rather than the loving God that he is who is pleased with humankind. We are faced with choices as process of our maturing. Our walk in Christ calls on us to move closer to him, to be more like him, rooting ourselves in love and forgiveness, and to forgive our enemies.
