Today our question is from Stewart, who lives in Sioux City, Iowa, and Stuart writes I listened to the address President Trump and Secretary Hegseth gave to the military leadership the other day, and I couldn’t believe my ears. I am a 26-year veteran of the United States Marine Corps, and I’ve never heard a President address our leadership with such disregard. Trump even suggested that American Cities should be “training grounds” for the military. With Hegseth detailing new directives slamming diversity and bashing what he called "stupid rules of engagement."  Hegseth also said combat troops will have to meet the "highest male standard," and if that means there are no women in combat roles, "it is what it is."  President Trump followed Hegseth, telling America's military brass that "we're under an invasion from within". As a veteran, I am angry that these two men would even think to speak to our military leadership in such a way.  I’m pretty sure that someone, if not all on the panel, watched or listened to the addresses.
