Last week in Sacramento, police responded to several incidents citywide. Early Sunday, three people were injured in a shooting near J Street in Midtown shortly after midnight. On Friday afternoon, Sacramento Police received calls regarding vandalism and property damage in the Oak Park neighborhood, around 33rd Street and 5th Avenue. Several vehicles and storefronts were reported with broken windows. No injuries occurred, and police are reviewing area surveillance footage. Saturday night, officers were dispatched to Del Paso Heights near Grand Avenue for an alleged assault. Officers located one adult male with minor injuries who declined medical treatment. In North Natomas on Wednesday afternoon, police responded to a reported home burglary near the intersection of Truxel Road and Arena Boulevard.
