Episode 68
Kevin Palau, President of the Palau ministry, and Sam Adams, former mayor of Portland, Oregon, talk about their friendship formed in the context of meeting social needs in the city. Sam was the first openly gay mayor of a major U.S. city. These two men describe their surprise at discovering that Evangelical Christians and people in the LGBT community can agree on most social issues and can work together to solve problems without compromising their core beliefs. They offer a practical example of how Christians can dialogue respectfully and share the love of Christ with those who hold different views.
