Description
The Grand Ole Opry has been busy celebrating their 100th birthday with a packed calendar of festive shows. However, one upcoming performance has left country fans confused. Sabrina Carpenter will be making her Grand Ole Opry debut October 7. The pop star just released a brand new album called "Man’s Best Friend," and she is excited to step inside the iconic circle for the first time. Even though Carpenter has recorded music with Dolly Parton, plenty of folks have strong opinions about the seemingly unusual choice. Unfortunately, those commenters must not be familiar with the Opry's long history of hosting artists outside of the country genre, including Paramore and Pharrell Williams. At the end of the day, Sabrina Carpenter's show will go on with support from Kaitlin Butts, Kameron Marlowe and Laci Kaye Booth. We have just one piece of advice for Sabrina's big night...please, keep it clean.
I'm Sheena, and that's your Music City Minute.
