Description
Utah invested $100 million in the Responsible AI Initiative at the University of Utah to attract researchers, expand cyberinfrastructure, and create a safe environment for AI development. The state enacted the first U.S. AI law requiring business accountability for AI misconduct and disclosure of generative AI use in regulated professions. Utah established the Office of Artificial Intelligence Policy and the Artificial Intelligence Learning Laboratory Program.
