On this VIDEO episode of Southeast Iowa Today John Bain attends the Henry County Board of Supervisors meeting at the Henry County Courthouse in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. The meeting included the following: Department Head Meeting; County Engineer Jake Hotchkiss Weekly Updates; Approval of Henry County Waste Disposal Contract, which was moved to next week’s meeting since Supervisor Chad White was absent, Supervisors subcommittee reports and public comment. During the Department Head Meeting Henry County Assessor Nathan Milks shared his thoughts and opinions regarding Director of IT in the Auditor’s Office Derek Wellington and what Mr. Milks calls Mr. Wellington’s attack on Supervisors Chad White and Steve Detrick. It was a very riveting meeting. A representative from the County Attorney’s Office shared that Henry County Deputy Carlos Lopez has been removed from the County’s Brady-Giglio list and Supervisor Detrick asked if it was over or if the County Attorney would be filing an appeal.
