Season 1 Episode 16
In this episode of In Right Relationship, Liz Chernett and Lily Eggers sit down with visionary facilitator and entrepreneur Colette Condorcita Schmitt, founder of Neurodelics and architect of the “Neuroethics” framework for psychedelic care. A lifelong activist and survivor of a catastrophic spinal injury, Colette brings a rare synthesis of lived experience, scientific rigor, and shamanic insight. Together, we explore her concept of the shamanic neurotype, why so many neurodivergent individuals are drawn to psychedelics, and how self-directed neuroplasticity can transform both personal healing and collective systems. We also dive into the patriarchal and neurotypical assumptions shaping today’s psychedelic renaissance, and how Colette’s new platform seeks to create culturally attuned, psychologically safe, and community-driven support for neurodivergent people on the margins of mainstream care.
