Lv: Vērmanes dārzs šoruden bija īpaši krāšņs.
En: Vērmanes dārzs this autumn was especially beautiful.
Lv: Zeltainās un sarkanās lapas klāja taciņas, un gaiss bija svaigi rudenīgs.
En: The golden and red leaves covered the paths, and the air was freshly autumnal.
Lv: Anitai un Mārtiņam tas bija klusuma un pārdomu laiks.
En: For Anita and Mārtiņš, it was a time of silence and reflection.
Lv: Viņi tikko bija zaudējuši vecmāmiņu, kuru abi ļoti mīlēja.
En: They had just lost their grandmother, whom they both loved dearly.
