With works and grace, and personal responsibility and comfort, the gospel pendulum seems to be rapidly swinging toward the latter. But a "Teddy Bear" Jesus is not the answer nor is it the true Doctrine of Christ. "Comfort" is turning to victimhood and resentment, forming victim groups and expecting Jesus Christ to be the "liberator" of such griefs. This turns the gospel into a "Therapy" Gospel coddling victimhood and stealing personal responsibility.
