Marlo Oaks is the State Treasurer for the state of Utah and was one of the first state treasurers nationally to divest investments Blackrock, the largest asset manager in the world. He did this because of their ESG policies which would undermine free markets and our democracy. The thing is, most of these large asset managers are on board with ESG (Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance).
