The Parables of the Ten Virgins, the Talents, and the Sheep and Goats from Matthew 25 are better understood by including the preceding chapter, Matthew 24. Matthew 24 is the chapter used for Joseph Smith - Matthew in the Pearl of Great Price. It is about the last days. Several phrases and ideas in chapter 24 carry over to the three parables.
