The offense shows some improvement and the defense stepped up in a big way against the Niners offense. Brock Purdy was limited to one of the lowest totals of passing yards in his career and Christian McCaffrey was held relatively in check. It all set up for Geno Smith to pick up another "stat" in the closing moments of the game.
