Episode Details

Juliana Peres Magalhães was working as an Au Pair for Christine and Brendan Banfield, who lived in the suburbs of Washington, DC. In February 2023, she was taking their 4-year-old daughter to the National Zoo when she realized she forgot their pre-packed lunches in the fridge. When she pulled back up to the house she saw a strange man walking inside with a bag. What started as a typical workday turned into pure chaos -- leaving 2 people dead. What begins as a frantic 911 call soon unravels into a web of secrets, hidden relationships, and a story far more complex than it first appears.
