Bihar Elections 2020: Key takeaways for political parties, politicians and Indian democracy
As the ruling NDA appears to be inching towards victory in the Bihar polls with its rival RJD led Mahagathbandhan continuing to give it a close fight, voters can only hope the parties and politicians will walk the talk on what they promised them with regards to the state's development. Also, with JD (U) chief and CM Nitish Kumar garnering a lesser number of seats, it will be interesting to see if he will be his old assertive self in his new inning as CM which seems to be most likely the case again. The voter has spoken and spoken well, that's all one can say. The close fight in many seats and incoming results have a message for all. Overall this election has some takeaways for all - political parties, politicians, voters, and Indian democracy itself as a whole. Listen in!
