The newly released Durham Report shows it was in fact the Clinton campaign that started the Russia collusion narrative as a tactic to distract from her own scandal involving a private email server. The FBI and mainstream media were more than willing to go along.
The idea that "Russia Disinformation" & "Trump Collusion" somehow swayed the 2016 election was drilled into the minds of the American left.
Our country's institutions have been questioned on the basis that Trump was an "illegitimate president." Supreme Court justices, District Judges, and bureaucratic officials nominated by Trump are therefore deemed illegitimate by some (at convenient times).
Our Free Speech has been threatened and partially removed at times because of fears of misinfo or disinfo. This move to police disinformation, like the disinformation that led to the election of Trump was then used against us during the Covid pandemic.
