Cinematography was amazing. The use of sound effects was amazing. The score & soundtrack were great.
The plot leaves a little to be desired if you're looking for specific things. Those things are: Why and how exactly this happened. How long has it been since the war started, and what happens after the objective is achieved at the end?
You're dumped into a world where you get a glimpse of the possible end of a conflict through the eyes of a few war journalists. There are no big-picture scenes from the situation rooms. You have as much information as the main characters. It's as if Cloverfield were shot like a normal movie rather than found footage, and the alien attacking the country is MAGA.
