If a baseball player suddenly stops between third base and home, he will be tagged out. He must go all the way and touch home plate in order to score a run. When our fellowship with God is broken by sin, there is no such thing as coming part of the way back to Him. We must come all the way back to the Lord in genuine repentance and faith and with a renewed commitment to submit to His will and Word.
