Rachel and Meseidy dive into the wildest superintendent scandal you’ve ever heard: a decorated Olympian, multiple doctorates, and... wait for it... a deportation order. How did Iowa’s largest school district manage to hire an illegal immigrant who may or may not have invented half his resume? Spoiler: Nobody did a background check because that would be racist, apparently.
Then we’re heading to “war-ravaged” Portland (Trump’s words, not ours), where the National Guard is deploying to protect ICE facilities from protesters with laser pointers and a lot of feelings. - Radical Empathy vs. Federal Law Iowa school board chair calls for “radical empathy” for the superintendent who lied about his credentials, fled from ICE, and had an illegal firearm—because apparently following the law is less important than feelings.
