Lv: Mākoņi slīdēja pār tumšo rudens debesu, un vējš, baltu lapu mākoni dzenājot, dziedāja savas rudens dziesmas.
En: Clouds glided over the dark autumn sky, and the wind, chasing a cloud of white leaves, sang its autumn songs.

Lv: Gundars sēdēja pie stūres vecā automašīnā, kamēr Aija un Liene sēdēja klusi aizmugurē.
En: Gundars sat at the wheel of the old car while Aija and Liene sat quietly in the back.

Lv: Ceļojums uz attālo lauku māju bija viņa pēdējā cerība atjaunot saiti starp viņiem.
