Lt: Vilniaus kavos skrudykloje jautėsi jauki šiluma.
En: There was a cozy warmth felt in the coffee roasting shop in Vilnius.

Lt: Ore tvyrojo šviežiai skrudintos kavos aromatas.
En: The air was filled with the aroma of freshly roasted coffee.

Lt: Lauke krito geltoni ir oranžiniai medžių lapai ant senovinių Vilniaus gatvės akmenų, o vėjas sukosi tarp jų, atnešdamas rudens kvapą.
En: Outside, yellow and orange tree leaves fell onto the ancient cobblestones of Vilnius streets, and the wind swirled among them, carrying the scent of autumn.

Lt: Mindaugas stovėjo prie kavos aparato, žiūrėjo į kavą, lašančią į puodelį.
En: Mindaugas stood by the coffee machine, watching the coffee drip into the cup.

Lt: Už jo nugaros durys tyliai prasivėrė, ir įėjo Rūta.

Lt: „Rūta!“ – Mindaugas šypsojosi, bet širdyje jam buvo neramu.

Lt: Jie abu pajuto, kad šis susitikimas galėtų pakeisti viską.

Lt: Rūta truputį mąstė, tada linktelėjo.

Lt: Jie sėdo prie staliuko kampe.

Lt: Šviesos atspindžiai šoko jų veiduose nuo žvakių liepsnos, sukurdamas ramią, intymią atmosferą.

Lt: „Prisiminimai... jie visada grįžta“, – pradėjo Mindaugas, truputį trūkčiodamas balsu.

Lt: „Buvau pykčio pilna,“ ji pripažino.
En: “I was full of anger,” she admitted.

Lt: „Bet aš nesupratau tada tavęs iki galo.“ Jos balsas buvo tylus, bet tvirtas.
En: “But I didn't understand you completely back then.” Her voice was quiet but firm.

Lt: Mindaugas įkvėpė.
En: Mindaugas took a deep breath.

Lt: „Nekaltinu tavęs.
En: “I don't blame you.

Lt: Ir aš nebučiau jautęsis kitaip, jei bučiau buvęs tavo vietoje.
En: And I wouldn't have felt differently if I had been in your place.

Lt: Ne visada pasielgdavau teisingai.“
En: I didn't always act rightly.”

Lt: Rūta šiek tiek atsišypsojo –
