Description
Jesus Sees Us with Eyes of Grace
Ptr. Gerbert Reyes (PE)
đ Luke 5:8
âWhen Simon Peter saw this, he fell at Jesusâ knees and said, âGo away from me, Lord; I am a sinful man!ââ
Simonâs response to the miracle wasnât prideâit was humility. He saw Jesusâ holiness and felt his own unworthiness. But Jesus didnât reject him. He called him.
Jesus doesnât wait for us to be perfect. He calls us as we are â flawed, broken, ordinary. He sees beyond our past and invites us into a future filled with purpose.
Simon was a fisherman, but Jesus saw a disciple. Jesus used language Simon understood â âfishing for peopleââ to invite him into a mission that would change lives.
đ Reflection: What part of your life makes you feel unworthy of Godâs calling? Can you trust that Jesus sees more in you than you see in yourself?
đđť Prayer: Lord, thank You for calling me as I am. Help me to see myself through Your eyes and trust that You have a purpose for my life, even when I feel unworthy. Amen. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
