Cs: Podzim v Krkonoších je nádherný.
En: Autumn in the Krkonoše Mountains is beautiful.
Cs: Listí hraje všemi barvami.
En: The leaves display all sorts of colors.
Cs: Vítr šumí skrz stromy a obloha je světlá a modrá.
En: The wind rustles through the trees, and the sky is bright and blue.
Cs: Uprostřed tohoto krásného krajiny stojí stará rodinná chalupa.
En: In the middle of this beautiful landscape stands an old family cottage.
Cs: Na jejím prahu stojí tři sourozenci: Jakub, Eliška a Marek.
En: On its doorstep stand three siblings: Jakub, Eliška, and Marek.

Cs: Jakub se posadí a povzdechne si.
En: Jakub sits down and sighs.
Cs: "Musíme to vyřešit," promluví klidným, ale pevným hlasem.
En: "We have to resolve this," he speaks in a calm but firm voice.
Cs: "Vím," přerušuje ho Eliška,
En: "I know," Eliška interrupts him,
Cs: "ale já nechci žít minulostí. Chci jít svou cestou."
En: "but I don't want to live in the past. I want to go my own way."
Cs: Marek si k nim přisedne a pokouší se je oba uklidnit.
En: Marek sits with them and tries to calm them both.
Cs: "Možná můžeme najít střední cestu. Jakub, co přesně chtěl otec?"
En: "Maybe we can find a middle ground. Jakub, what exactly did Father want?"
Cs: Jakub otevře dokument a čte.
En: Jakub opens the document and reads.
Cs: "Otec si přál, abychom tu chalupu udrželi a scházeli se tady každé léto.
En: "Father wished for us to maintain the cottage and meet here every summer.
Cs: Chtěl, aby nás tohle místo spojovalo."
En: He wanted this place to unite us."
Cs: Eliška si zkříží ruce na prsou.
En: Eliška folds her arms across her chest.
Cs: "Ale proč bych měla být uvázaná k místu a vzpomínkám?"
En: "But why should I be tied to a place and memories?"
Cs: Vzduchem se nese napětí.
En: Tension fills the air.
Cs: Najednou Marek vyloví z kapsy starou fotografii.
En: Suddenly, Marek pulls an old photograph from his pocket.
Cs: "Podívejte se na tohle," říká s úsměvem.
En: "Look at this," he says with a smile.
Cs: Na fotografii je jejich otec jako mladý chlapec. Stojí na stejném místě, kde teď oni.
En: The photograph shows their father as a young boy, standing in the same place where they are now.
Cs: "Náš otec taky snil. Sníme stejně, jen každý jinak."
En: "Our father dreamed too. We dream the same way, just each differently."
