BC is reporting a new record high for its forecasted deficit for Q-1 2025-2026 with the elimination of the consumer carbon tax. The province is projecting the deficit to reach almost $11.6 billion, which almost $700 million higher than the original projection.

Surrey is announcing a $250K reward fund for information leading to extortion convictions.
