In the wake of the Charlie Kirk assassination we have seen heightened rhetoric from both sides of the political isle and a rash of statements and initiatives from the right aiming to to control speech, surveil Americans and establish the normalization of police state.

All of it is anti-liberty and in violation of the Constitution and it’s all being done in the name of Charlie Kirk, with conservatives and libertarians cheering it on.

Last week, Matt Kibbe and I had the unfortunate job of defending Jimmy Kimmel, a guy we oppose on virtually every political issue because basic tenets of free speech were at stake.
