During the time of the Western Migration and Manifest Destiny in United States, a Mormon family was murdered by Native Americans, and two young girls were taken as captive. One of these girls, was Olive Oatman, who would go on to live with the Yavapai and Mohave Natives for five years before being forced to return to the "white world".

But after being literally marked by the tribe, can Olive ever find a place where she belongs?
