Have you considered the coconut?

Have you considered the coconut?

Season 4 Episode 49 Published 6 months, 1 week ago
Description

King David wrote in Psalm 19:1: “The heavens are telling of the glory of God; and their expanse is declaring the work of His hands.” Everywhere we look, creation points us back to the Creator. Even something as ordinary as a coconut tree along the shoreline can preach a powerful truth—God’s glory is on display.

Yet throughout Scripture we see people who refused to acknowledge Him. Pharaoh hardened his heart against Moses. The Pharisees turned their hearts against Jesus. Hard-heartedness is closing ourselves off to God, even when His presence is all around us.

When we look at the towering coconut tree, heavy with fruit, it stands as a reminder: God has surrounded us with evidence of His goodness and power. Nature itself testifies that He is real—and it calls us to keep our hearts open to Him.

My goal is that their hearts, having been knit together in love, may be encouraged, and that they may have all the riches that assurance brings in their understanding of the knowledge of the mystery of God, namely, Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. - Colossians 2:2-3
