Lt: Šaltokas rudens vakaras nusileido ant Palangos paplūdimio, kai Lina, Gediminas ir Rasa ėmė žingsniuoti per drėgną smėlį.
En: A chilly autumn evening descended on the Palanga beach as Lina, Gediminas, and Rasa began to walk across the damp sand.

Lt: Vėjas sūkuriavo aplink juos, įsibraudamas į jų pokalbius.
En: The wind swirled around them, intruding into their conversations.

Lt: Bet Lina negirdėjo vėjo šauksmų - jos mintys sukosi apie seną lobių žemėlapį, kurį atrado nusilupusia oda ir pageltusiu popieriumi.
En: But Lina didn't hear the wind's calls—her thoughts were spinning around the old treasure map she had found, worn and yellowed.
