Da: Det var en klar efterårsdag i Aarhus.
En: It was a clear autumn day in Aarhus.

Da: Byen lå ved kysten, hvor bølgerne stille skyllede ind mod stranden.
En: The city lay by the coast, where the waves gently washed against the shore.

Da: Træerne havde smukke gyldne og røde blade, som vinden legede med.
En: The trees had beautiful golden and red leaves, which the wind played with.

Da: Det var tid til at starte skolen igen, og eleverne vrimlede ind i klasselokalerne på byens gymnasium.
En: It was time to start school again, and the students swarmed into the classrooms at the city's high school.
