Fox (Independence Day, Set It Off) as Vernita Green; Daryl Hannah (Blade Runner, Splash) as the ruthless Elle Driver; and Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs, Donnie Brasco) as Budd. The film also stars David Carradine (Kung Fu, Bound for Glory) as the mysterious Bill, whose shadow looms over the entire narrative. From the unforgettable “Crazy 88” showdown at the House of Blue Leaves to the stylish black-and-white anime origin of O-Ren Ishii, Kill Bill Vol. 1 is loaded with legendary sequences, hyper-stylized violence, and Tarantino’s trademark genre-mashing storytelling.
