Southern California Surf Report: Epic 2-6 Foot Waves Span Malibu to San Luis Obispo with Moderate Rip Current Conditions

Description
Surf's up, wave riders! Grab your boards and sunscreen because we've got an epic coastal forecast coming your way.

Let's kick things off along the Malibu and Los Angeles County beaches where the surf is serving up a sweet 2 to 4 foot playground. We're looking at a moderate rip current risk, so keep those eyes peeled and stay alert. Water temps are sitting pretty between 67 and 72 degrees - perfect for catching some sweet waves.

The tide's going to be dancing today with a morning low of negative 0.4 feet around 3 AM, then climbing to a high of 4.7 feet by mid-morning. Afternoon brings another low at 1.8 feet before an evening high peaks at 5.9 feet. Mother Nature's mixing up a tasty swell cocktail with south and northwest swells blending together.

Heading up the coast to Ventura, you'll find nearly identical conditions. Same 2 to 4 foot waves, moderate rip current risk, and water temps ranging from 66 to 70 degrees. The tide schedule mirrors Malibu with slight variations.

For our Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo crews, things get a bit more interesting. The southwestern and southeastern coasts are looking at smaller 1 to 3 foot waves with a low rip current risk. Water's a bit chillier at 62 to 68 degrees.

But hold onto your wetsuits - the central coast beaches are firing with 3 to 6 foot waves today, ramping up to 4 to 7 feet tomorrow. Water's cooler here at 56 to 62 degrees, but the swell is looking spicy with west and northwest action.

Oh, and everyone's got a slight chance of thunderstorms, so keep an eye on those skies. Stay stoked, stay safe, and catch those waves!
