On September 7th, I took 2 and a half Beboe peach edible gummies, not for recreation, but to ease the pain of being cyberbullied and racially attacked on Instagram. That morning, I felt broken, devastated, angry, and physically unwell from the stress.
In this deeply personal episode, I reflect on intergenerational trauma, my own dark past, and the emotional toll of systemic racism. I send prayers to Trey Reed, a Black man who was tragically hanged at the University of Mississippi, and hold space for all Black Americans who’ve lost their lives to racial violence with a moment of silence.
I speak out against racism, homophobia, xenophobia, and all forms of hate. This episode is a space for truth, healing, and resistance. This episode is for anyone who’s ever felt silenced, hurt, or unseen.
