#1 LEAD CHILDREN TO KNOW AND LOVE GOD

A child’s spiritual foundation is strengthened by adults who genuinely love and follow the Lord. Parents, grandparents, and the church can model authentic faith while helping children understand the gospel and develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. (Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Psalm 78:1-8; Matthew 19:13-15)

#2 BUILD A BIBLICAL FOUNDATION FOR LIFE

Children need more than biblical information. They need God’s truth impressed upon their hearts through everyday conversations, prayer, Scripture, and faithful examples. Teaching them a biblical worldview helps prepare them to evaluate the messages they receive from the surrounding culture. (Joshua 24:15; Psalm 119:11; 2 Timothy 1:5; 2 Timothy 3:14-17)

#3 PREPARE THE NEXT GENERATION TO STAND FIRM

Children can grow into confident and courageous followers of Jesus when they are grounded in the gospel and trained in godly habits. Believers can teach them to pray, study Scripture, understand baptism and communion, resist temptation, and depend on God’s strength. (Proverbs 22:6; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Ephesians 6:10-18; Colossians 2:6-7)

Invest intentionally in the next generation by modeling an authentic relationship with Jesus, teaching God’s Word, praying with children, and helping them develop lifelong spiritual habits. Their confidence must ultimately rest in Christ, and their courage must be grounded in His truth.
