In this episode, I discuss the hot topic of “prepared meals” in China. Many people oppose them, believing restaurant food should always be freshly cooked, not pre-made. I can understand that view, but in my own busy life I often rely on prepared meal services. I share my subscription experience with CookUnity, from choosing meals to delivery and reheating. I also talk about the pros—time-saving, convenient, diverse options, clear nutrition labeling—and the cons, such as not freshly cooked and limited vegetables. Finally, I reflect on why this trend fits so well with today’s busy lifestyle.
