Daily Devo | A River of Life (Prophet & Loss, Ezekiel 47:1-9)
Description
At the conclusion of a vision of a renewed Temple, Ezekiel is shown a river that starts out as a virtual trickle as it flows from the Temple, only to grow to a mighty river that brings life to everything it touches. This river is the Spirit of God. However desolate we may feel, the flow of the Spirit brings life, hope, and healing.

For Reflection:
"Life will flourish wherever this water flows." - Ezekiel 47:9
- Rivers surround Eden, a river flows from the Temple here in Ezekiel, and a river runs through the center of the heavenly Jerusalem in Revelation 22. Why do you think God chooses to use a river to symbolize abundant life, especially life through the Holy Spirit?
- In what ways do you desire to experience life more richly and deeply? Take some time to pray for God's Spirit to fill you.
