En: The wind swept across the endless white plains of the Arctic tundra.
Cs: Slunce, sotva viditelné na obzoru, se stěží zahřívalo.
En: The sun, barely visible on the horizon, scarcely provided any warmth.
Cs: Ladislav stál před výzkumnou stanicí, pevně se opřený o zábradlí.
En: Ladislav stood in front of the research station, firmly leaning against the railing.
Cs: V ruce držel malé rádio.
En: In his hand, he held a small radio.
Cs: Jeho oči byly plné očekávání a touhy po objevu.
