Nebraska has done it. The Huskers beat Wisconsin 44-25 on Saturday at Memorial Stadium to snap a 10-game skid against the Badgers. And for the first time in eight years, the Nebraska football team is headed to a bowl game.
The win resonated in Lincoln and throughout Husker Nation, creating feelings of relief and excitement. Students rushed the field. Players and coaches celebrated with fans. Connor and Mitch are all for it. These Huskers have earned the right to feel good before they head to Iowa on Black Friday for the regular-season finale. How did they do it? Well, the offense, called by Dana Holgorsen and directed by Dylan Raiola, looked great – from beginning to end.
