Fr: Par un après-midi chaud de fin d'été, le soleil brillait doucement sur un vieux terrain de pétanque abandonné.
En: On a hot late summer afternoon, the sun gently shone upon an old, abandoned pétanque field.

Fr: Les herbes folles dansaient au rythme du vent léger, et quelques feuilles mortes jonchaient le sol craquelé.
En: The wild grasses danced to the rhythm of the light breeze, and a few dead leaves were strewn across the cracked ground.

Fr: Luc, inventeur passionné bien que maladroit, se tenait là, intrigué.

Fr: À ses côtés, Thérèse, son amie pragmatique, observait avec curiosité.
