In 1989, and again 1990, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled flag burning a First Amendment protected action. In 2025, Trump has issued an executive order banning flag burning. Trump's executive order mean absolutely nothing. But, it is part of his administration's greater plan to roll back civil liberties in the U.S.
